5th International Vilnius Course “Update on Paediatric Infectious diseases” took place on 3-4th October 2011 in Vilnius, Lithuania
The course was held in Artis Centrum Hotel, which is situated in the heart of the Lithuanian capital’s Old Town. The Course was organised by Vilnius University, supported by ESPID (The European Society for Paediatric Infectious Diseases) and BALTIPA (Baltic Immunoprophylaxis association).

78 participants in total attended the 5th International Vilnius Course “Update on Paediatric Infectious Diseases”. The course keeps proving its scientific and practical purpose internationally with participants from 17 countries who have attended the course this year. Participants represented the following countries: Austria, Republic of Belarus, Belgium, Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Israel, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Switzerland, Ukraine, United Kingdom and United States of America. It is important to outline that the international background of the International Vilnius Course is expanding as the list of countries that participants represent is growing with each year.
